Sela Network Weekly Update - First week of 2026
Week of Jan 1 - 7, 2026
1. Overview
As we move through the first week of the new year, this period marked a continuation of Sela Network’s realignment toward its next phase.
Following a period of steady expansion, our focus has remained on reinforcing the network’s core. Rather than prioritizing short-term visibility, we concentrated on execution readiness, architectural preparation, and long-term stability—ensuring the network is structurally prepared for what comes next.
January is positioned as a month of broader updates and structural progression.
This week was about strengthening the foundation and setting a clear direction for the year ahead.
2. Network Growth 🚀
Despite the transition into the new year, the network continued to grow in a consistent and reliable manner.
Total Installed Nodes: 1,550+ → 1,674
Active Nodes: 571
Geographic Coverage: 82 → 83 countries
SLA: Maintaining 99%+ uptime
These figures reflect more than incremental growth. They indicate a network that is scaling while maintaining performance and resilience—key prerequisites for more advanced, agent-driven execution.
3. Technical & Product Updates
This week’s technical efforts focused on preparation and enablement, rather than immediate public releases.
Platform Extension (In Progress)
Continued development of a platform extension designed to support more advanced node-level execution
Targeting a new version release within the week, to be shared via Medium, Google, and LinkedIn
Sela Node v1.0 (In Progress)
Progress toward a structure where operators gain direct control over nodes as agents
Laying the groundwork for more autonomous, flexible, and scalable execution models
These efforts are part of a broader architectural update trajectory planned throughout January.
4. Marketing & Ecosystem
Community-facing initiatives continued to show clear upward momentum.
Galxe Campaign: Completed with 155 participants
Voice Challenge: 272 → 417 joins (+145)
Selping Campaign: 110K+ total views, currently in its final stage
The sustained increase in participation reflects growing alignment within the ecosystem as contributors prepare for deeper involvement in the next phase.
5. Community Participation
Sela Node Agent Beta Tester Recruitment
Sela Network announced the Sela Node Agent Beta Test, marking the first public step in transitioning from node operations to AI agent execution.
The beta validates whether AI agents can run reliably on real Sela Nodes and perform real-world web actions.4
6. Closing
This week reinforced Sela Network’s momentum heading into 2026.
With a stronger foundation, expanding global coverage, and clear progress toward agent-driven infrastructure, the network is preparing for a series of broader updates and structural changes throughout January.
More details will be shared soon.
Thank you for continuing to build with us as we move into the next chapter.
