Sela Network Node App v0.2.2 Update – Improved Node Status
We’ve released a new version of the Sela Network Node App: v0.2.2.
This is not a mandatory update, but we strongly recommend upgrading to benefit from more accurate node status handling.
1. What’s new in v0.2.2
a. Better handling of inactive nodes
Some nodes were staying in a “stuck” or unclear state even after they became inactive.
With v0.2.2:
Nodes that are no longer running or sending data will now be properly treated as OFF/inactive
This helps keep the node dashboard and network status cleaner and more accurate
It also makes it easier for us to distinguish between truly active nodes and those that have effectively stopped
This change does not affect your existing points or referrals. It only improves how node status is managed.
2. Should you update?
v0.2.2 is recommended, but not required at this time.
Older versions will continue to run for now, but:
Node status handling will be less accurate on older versions, and
Future campaign and scoring logic will be designed with v0.2.2 and above in mind.
3. How to update
Go to the official website: https://selanetwork.io
Download Node App v0.2.2 for your OS (Windows / Mac)
Install v0.2.2
Log in with the same account as before
Confirm your node status and dashboard look normal
4. Support
If you notice any issues after updating:
Your node does not behave as expected, or
Your status on the dashboard looks incorrect,
please open a ticket in the #ticket-contact channel on Discord with details and, if possible, screenshots.
We’ll review your case and follow up individually.
