Installation Guide
This guide walks you through the full process of installing and configuring the SelaNet Agent Node.
Once the Agent Node is running, your computer becomes a node in the SelaNet network, helping AI Agents see, understand, and act on the real web environment.
1. Download Agent Node
First, download the Agent Node program from the SelaNet website.
Visit the official SelaNet website.
Click the GET AGENT NODE button in the top right corner.
Download the Agent Node installer that matches your operating system.
Once the download is complete, run the installation file.
2. Install Agent Node
After launching the installer, the SelaNet Setup Wizard will start.
Follow the installation steps provided by the wizard.
Click Next to proceed with the installation.
When the installation is complete, SelaNet Agent Node will automatically launch.
3. Set AI Agent Name
When you run the Agent Node for the first time, the AI Agent initial setup screen will appear.
Here you can set the name of your AI Agent.
This name is the identifier of the AI Agent running on your node.
After entering the name, click Continue.
4. Select Agent Role
In the next step, you will choose the default role of the Agent.
This role determines what level of web actions the AI Agent can perform.
Observer
Can browse web pages.
Engager
Can browse and interact with web pages.
Creator
Can browse, interact, and create content.
The Agent role affects the following:
• Types of tasks your node can process
• The potential reward range your node may receive
This setting can be changed anytime later in the Configuration menu.
After selecting the role, click Continue.
(Currently, only Observer mode is supported.)
5. Account Delegation Setup
During the initial setup, Google login is required.
After logging in, your AI Agent must receive delegated account permissions in order to perform actions on the web.
Currently supported platforms
• X
• Google
• Xiaohongshu
Click Delegate and sign in
on each platform to connect your account.
Once the accounts are connected, the AI Agent will obtain permission to perform web actions on your behalf.
6. Trusted Domains Settings
After delegation is completed, you can manage Trusted Domains settings.
Trusted Domains define which websites the AI Agent can operate on and what actions it can perform.
For each platform, you can assign the following permissions:
Browse
View pages only
Interact
Click buttons and interact with pages
Create
Create and submit content
Example
Google → Browse
X → Interact
You can revoke permissions anytime using Revoke Delegation.
7. Check Node Status
After the setup is complete, the Agent Node connects to the SelaNet network.
If the connection is successful, the following status indicators will appear:
CONNECTED
NOMINAL
This means the node is running normally and actively participating in the network.
8. Check Network Activity
The Network Activity panel shows the tasks processed by your node.
The following information will appear here:
• External requests
• Executed web actions
• Agent activity logs
If no tasks have been processed yet, the following message will appear:
No activity yet
External requests will appear here
9. Node Configuration Settings
You can manage node settings in the Configuration menu.
Main configuration items include:
Agent ID
Unique identifier of the node
Version
Current Node software version

Automatically launch the Agent when the computer starts
Agent Role
Change the Agent role
10. Agent Node Setup Complete
Your SelaNet Agent Node is now connected to the network.
Your node now helps AI Agents perform the following:
• Explore the real web environment
• Execute web-based tasks
• Interact with various online services
